● The user logs into the system.
● The system displays the user's Requests screen.
● If the request meets the eligibility conditions, a (Request Extension) button appears next to it.
● Upon clicking the button, the system forwards the request to the Certificate Extension Request Auditor for review and approval or rejection.
1. A valid or expired Classification Certificate.
2. The certificate must have 14 days or less remaining before expiration or be expired for no more than 14 days.

Can the validity of a Classification Certificate be extended?
Yes, beneficiaries can submit an extension request through the Classification Certificate Extension service. The request can be submitted 14 days before expiration and up to 14 days after expiration. If approved, the certificate is extended for 90 days from the expiration date of the current certificate.
