The Ministry began in 2009 by creating a statistics page that included a time series of several datasets related to municipal sector activities and services.
With the acceleration of digital transformation and the diversification of data produced by the Ministry and recognizing the importance of open data and its economic, social, and developmental role, the open data page was developed on the Ministry's official website and other platforms to provide datasets in different formats in line with relevant decisions.
