Governmental Requirements and Approvals

The land must be vacant residential land within an approved land scheme.

Notes & Guidelines

For the Merging of Residential Lands service:

• The land parcels must be adjacent with no separation between them.

For the Subdivision of Residential Lands service:

• The land area before subdivision must be at least 400 m².
• The minimum area per subdivided plot must be 200 m².
• The street width facing the subdivided plot must be at least 10 meters.
• The plot’s street-facing side must be at least 10 meters for attached buildings, and 12 meters for detached buildings, including setback requirements.
• The subdivision boundary must be straight.
