The Ministry affirmed that field inspections of food establishments are conducted continuously by Amanahs and municipalities to verify compliance with health requirements, ensure the safe handling, storage, and preparation of food, identify violations, and take regulatory action against non-compliant establishments. These efforts contribute to strengthening food safety and reducing practices that may pose risks to consumers’ health.
The Ministry explained that the municipal inspection system is based on continuously developing health requirements, enhancing the efficiency of field inspections, and strengthening compliance among workers in food-related activities with health requirements. This is achieved by regulating the procedures for issuing health certificates and updating regulatory guidelines to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to consumers.
